The Solon Spartan School Trapshooting Team
is a youth shooting sports program with
student athletes from the Solon, Iowa
Community School District with
representation from Middle School (7th & 8th)
and High School (9th thru 12th). Our team is focused on Trapshooting. Using a combination of education and athletics, we work to enhance the growth and personal development of student athletes.
The Team's season starts in January with team registration and official practices begin in March.

2019 Solon Trap Dates
The planned 2019 Practice Schedule (BARRING TEMPERATURE & WEATHER)

Tuesday & Thursday and Sunday: At Otter Creek in Cedar Rapids

Tues. & Thurs. Practice time: 4:30 to 6PM. If student athletes arrive after 5:45PM they will not participate in practice.

Sunday Practice (pending ATA shoots) 2pm to 3:30pm.

Trap Houses (To Be Announced)

COACHES request assistance from upper class-men and parent volunteers to be at practices to score, manage attendance, and fulfill safety officer roles.

The 2019 Schedule:

2019 ATA Fall League: (for student athletes who competed in Trap previously). Competitions September through March.

2019 Spring League registration is now Open.

​Registrations open in January annually followed by classroom training in February then field training.
