We are working to defray some of the costs so that the team can continue to allow interested student athletes to have the opportunity to experience a shooting sport.  We are very pleased that the Solon Community School district allows this as a lettering activity.  However, this sport is not a school sanctioned sport; therefore, it is not funded by the district and each student athlete and his/her family is responsible to pay for their competition entry fees, equipment, shotgun shells.  
We are seeking assistance to help offset these costs for the team.

The team has ~40 student athletes who participate in more than 30 shoots during the season.  The estimated cost per student to prepare for and participate in competitions is approximately $2,000 for in-state competitions and $600 for the Scholastic Clay Trap Program [SCTP] Nationals.  Totals costs for the team per season equate to over $70,000 for in-state competitions alone. 

We are asking for your help, as a dedicated member of the community, to consider sponsoring our team this year as it will help support our student athletes to defer some of the cost of participating.  If you would like to sponsor our team, please make checks payable to The Solon Spartan Trapshooting Team.  For our planning purposes, we are working to complete this effort for the 2016 season by March 1, 2016, as printing of our team merchandise will be done shortly after this date.  For your generous support, we will display our team sponsors during all of our shoots.  The banner will include all of our sponsors' names.

There are four levels of sponsorship:

• Gold Level - $1000+ Recognition on Team Poster, Team Apparel & website, Autographed Team Picture, and an Invitation to shoot at a Family Fun Day shoot with the team at the end of the season.

• Silver Level - $500 – $999 Recognition on Team Poster, Team Apparel & website, Autographed Team Picture

• Bronze level $250-$499 Recognition on Team Poster & Autographed Team Picture and website

• Supporter – $50 to $250 Recognition on Team Poster and website

In addition, the Midway USA Foundation is matching all donations to our Team Endowment Fund 1:1! 

The Midway USA Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity with a mission to help communities and organizations raise funds to support their high school, college, and other youth shooting teams and activities.  We accomplish this through three programs.  

The Solon Spartan Trap Club can draw up to 5% annually for our team, so the bigger we grow the endowment, the better off our team will be down the line.  Can you help grow our endowment?
